Currently, 2 Winners and a Soapbox Font

July Currently Time...if you're new to this bloggie world, then hop on over & give it a try!
I rarely get out of my jammas (as My Girl calls them, you probably call them PJ's) if I have nowhere to go.
This was the first week, I stayed in PJ's for 2 days straight.
Hubby didn't like it:(  I did:)

Why is it I can NEVER link up above #100 on the Currently?  HUM???

Have you ever had Red Robin's Tower of Onion Rings with Campfire Sauce??  I AM CRAVING THEM!!
I think I could drink the campfire sauce.
Yes, I know I could.

Standing on my SOAPBOX...
Anybody have a good place to buy a PRETTY Plus Sized Maxi Dress?
I went into a store the other day and saw the cutest ones in the Misses Section.  So cute!  I figured they would have the same ones in the Plus Section.
Nope.  They had MooMoo's.  Yes, MooMoo's.
I laughed out loud.
How hard is to make the same dress in a larger size with space for boobs and a butt?
Okay stepping off my Soapbox...

I hope you enjoy my Clipart Series, CLIPART and Coffee Talk with Erin from Lovin' Lit.  Her work is awesome and priced just right!  The winners are Karen and Suzy.  Expect your prize pack today!

Since you had to listen to my Soapbox...here's a quick freebie font.  Just use my credit button if you want to use it.
This Little Piggy is finally going to link up with Monday Made It...can't wait!

Clipart & Coffee Talk with Lovin' Lit

Welcome to the very first Clipart and Coffee Talk!
For the entire month of July, I will be showcasing a clip artist on Monday & Thursday as a way to help out new TpT Sellers!  Make sure you check back...there are lots of Clipart Giveaways Planned!
Featuring: Erin from I'm Lovin' Lit

I must be honest, I RARELY check out from TpT without something from Lovin' Lit in my cart.  Who can pass up $1 papers or $2 frames?  Not me.
Come on, you know I'm obsessed with frames!  Erin also has amazing FREEBIES!  My computer is loaded with them!
In fact, the chalkboard ovals are her creation!
South Louisiana - I love the culture, the people, and the New Orleans Saints!
I'm a HUGE football fan - WHO DAT!
Downside - I've *never* seen snow! I'd love to take a winter vacation someday.
I began making clip art this summer after my husband got me a leisure learning class on graphic design for Mother's Day - he sure does pay attention to me! That, or my clipart spending habit was OUT OF CONTROL!! I love making my own papers, frames, borders, and accents the way I want them and in the colors I want. And I love making products for other sellers that don't break the bank.
My Seller's Toolkit Bundles are my favorite because they contain a little bit of everything!
I *LOVE* it!  It's the absolute best form of flattery and really makes me feel like I've done something great for someone else - especially when I know they got the item for free:)  Erin is willing to make custom borders/frames, papers and accents.  She's super easy to work with.  You can reach her at ecobb@me.com

Erin is being very generous to me you and doing a FLASH FREEBIE!  Don't you love them?  I ahhdore them!  Go Grab my the Summer Mermaid Papers.
She's also giving not one, but TWO of you the ability to win the Summer Mermaid Accent Set!

Have fun creating and check back next week, when my guest will be...
This Little Piggy hopes you enjoy Clipart & Coffee Talk!

Ten Pin Linky

Last week I wanted to Link Up with Just Reed's Ten Pin Linky Party.
But, we spent the week...
Swimming at a Waterpark and...
Making a Campfires.  How many teachers does it take to make a campfire?  4.
Yes, it took 4 women to make this campfire...but we loved it and even more, our kiddos loved it!

So, this week I'll  link up with my Classroom Management Pins.

I have to be honest.  I haven't always had great classroom management.
With experience, I learned it didn't have to do with the quality of my teaching.
It had to do with my lack of "systems".
I knew I wanted to do centers, but I simply didn't know how.
I knew I wanted to have a way to track missing homework, but again, I didn't know how.

I've been departmentalized for 8 years of my 10 years.
Classroom Management in a Departmentalized Classroom is
VERY different from a Self-Contained Classroom.
I don't have to have a system for 24 kids to learn,
I have to have a system that works for 65ish kiddos and 3 different classrooms.
Plus, my students have 3 different teachers and have to learn 3 different systems...CONFUSING!!!

I need to organize my Centers (maybe this summer).

Shhhh....I've never had a Teacher Binder. I had Data Binders, Student Info Folders, a Sub Folder, Meeting Folder, PLC Binder,a Lesson Plan Book and a Grade Book. Yes, all of this in different places! This year...1 Super-Teacher Binder!

My tables have buckets already, but I need them to be organized so students can keep up with my classroom supplies. I had to replenish every 6 weeks last year and I refuse to do so.

I like this idea (mine will be on chalkboard). I did this at a previous school and it worked well.

You might not think this is a classroom mngt. tool, but it is. I got rid of my desk last year in an effort to de-clutter my classroom. It worked...sorta. As the year wears on...teachers run out of things. They send kids down in the middle of my lesson to ask, "Mrs. Rogers wants to know if you have staples or Ms. Kelly needs stickers, do you have any?" Well, instead of me having to stop class and look...I can easily send a kiddo back to grab it.

This really helps my students and it's FREE from http://firstgradeglitterandgiggles.blogspot.com/!

This was my classroom library and I must admit that I loved it. This year my goal is to use QR codes to label each book and check them out to students. I ordered over 500 free books from Scholastic and I had a ton of them that students would borrow and not return. Not this year!

My team uses the clipchart for the first semester. Second semester we get bogged down with test prep...maybe table points or brownie points?

This is the ONLY WAY I will ever do homework AGAIN! I do Monday Homework Packets. Let's be serious with 64-67 kiddos at any given time, it's very hard to remember who was here what day of the week and what they missed. I used to DREAD Homework. I would hear, "You didn't give me mine." or "I forgot it at home." This way, all students get a homework packet on Monday. If they are absent, they get it on Tuesday. It is due on Friday and we grade in class. Check out my post.

This Little Piggy is water-logged from too much swimming!

Friday full of Linky's

Okay this post will be a bit of a hodge-podge.  I've been blog stalking something bad this week.  Really bad.
I'm reading-- might not always comment (but I do try).

For Doodle Bugs Friday Five Pics...
This is the 6 foot sunflower field by our house.  Pretty cool!

I'm not a drinker.  I probably have less than 5 per year.  But I love Margaritas...lime:)
Have you tried this Lime-a-Rita?  YUM!

So...I made this clipart.  I know it's not the coolest around, but I really like the pencils.  Click on the pic to take you to my TpT store where they are $2.00 until Monday!
I took this pic and sent it to my husband at work.
He posted it on Facebook with the title, "My World".  How sweet.
He's a great dad, they sure are lucky!

My Girl did a little water painting today.  She also did a lot little spilling water today:(
A very good friend of mine
inspired me to make this classroom decor set.
Her name is Tiffany and she's obsessed with Tiffany Blue.
I'm wondering do people you know inspire you?  Or is it just me?

This Little Piggy hates shopping!
This was our last day of school, our theme was NERD.   That's why I have on a tie and random pig-tails.
But, in the summer I love to wear a Pretty Maxi Dress.  My love of the summer dress inspired my newest free fonts!  You can click on the pic below or see my header at the top to grab all of my free fonts!!!

I just love Freebie Friday.  I haven't linked up in a while...so here we go!

This Little Piggy will spend the weekend at the pool drinking Lime-a-Rita's!

Video and Upper Elementary Blog Link-Up

Happy Summer, Bloggie Friends!

I finished my 3rd "how-to" video.  This one teaches you how to make a TpT Banner and Button.  It's very easy but for some reason it was my hardest video to make...weird huh?

There are some changes going on around here.  Did you notice the page tabs at the top?  I wanted a place to put all of my videos so that they would all be in one place.  There is also an Upper Elementary Blog Link-Up.  There are a TON of Kinder and 1st & 2nd Grade Blogs out there, but the Upper Elementary 3-6 are not as plentiful.  I want a place to keep great ideas for upper elementary teachers.  Link up!

This Little Piggy is not doing one single thing today!

EOY Nachos!

1 more day.....1 more day....1 more day...I can do it.....I can do it...I can do it...Thank Goodness I didn't sign up to teach STEM Summer Camp!  Don't get me wrong, this year has been possibly the best behaved group of kiddos I've ever had.  I had a lot of them in PK and K, so truthfully, I love them dearly!  But, I am at the end of this rope and I'm either going to jump into a shark infested water or onto a boat...either way I've got to get off the rope!!!

Last year we began a school tradition of going out for nachos on the last day of school.  Let me tell you...nachos are a great way to end the school year!!

I've been working on some cute fonts for you.  I'm compiling a new pack...just wait!  I also have a new video and I wanted to post it tomorrow, but I'm flat worn out.  So, let's plan on Monday!

Kelsea over at Teacher Gems is having a big giveaway for her 30th B-Day (to be 30 again)...and she has amazing prize packs!  She even has a TpT seller prize pack that I'm hoping to win!!  Click on the button to visit her blog and sign up.

This Little Piggy is excited to lay out next week!
